The Show
Edgar Allan Poeprov is a fully impoevised, fully poeduced play based on the works of Edgar Allan Poe and suggestions from the audience.
Using poetry, storytelling, and improv techniques, we explore the themes of every day nightmares. Based on classic long-form improv structures (the Deconstruction, the Harold, La Rond), Poeprov is part of a new wave of improvised performance called story-form, which aims to improvise a coherent, meaningful, and complete story.
The year is 1849. Edgar Allan Poe is dying in a ditch wearing a stranger’s clothes.
Before his eyes, his demons dance out one final performance.
This is that play. Different every night.
